The first time I met Bobbi I knew I wanted to create an Iconic portrait of her. BUT I didn’t know what the look and feel was going to be until months later. I learned more about Bobbi over time and found she was a musician that loved singing soulful ballads and collaborating with other creative people. I wanted to create a portrait that would bring out the mystery and emotion I saw in her.
I achieved this creative look by using a split focus, double exposure technique. I could have layered several scenes in post but I’m old school and feel if you can build the scene in camera that’s always better. I feel the style I selected to create Bobbi’s Iconic Portrait brought out her inner beauty just right.
